Gachatha

Gachatha is a washed Kenyan coffee from Nyeri, made by smallholder farmers who bring their coffee cherries to the Gachatha wet mill. The area is known for producing some of Kenya’s most vibrant and fruit-forward coffees.

In the cup, Gachatha is juicy and full of dark berry flavors, with notes of blackcurrant, blackberry, and raisin. It is bright and lively, but still sweet and easy to enjoy.

After picking, the coffee is carefully sorted, fermented, washed, and then slowly dried on raised tables. This careful processing helps keep the flavors clean, fresh, and expressive.

The result is a crisp, fruity Kenyan coffee with lots of sweetness and a long finish. A great choice for filter brewing if you enjoy bright coffees with rich berry flavors.
